Enertech FM beds down with Grainger PLC at the Multi-million-pound Silver Yard development in Birmingham
Grainger’s New Exchange Square Build to Rent scheme – its second in Birmingham – has been named The Silver Yard after the city’s connection to the historic manufacturing of silverware.
The scheme is named to celebrate J. W. Evans Silver Factory – a nearby landmark established in 1881, which still stands today with much of the original equipment and workshop still intact.
Located in Exchange Square in the heart of the city, The Silver Yard delivers 375 new Build to Rent homes – a mix of stylish one, two and duplex apartments.
Amenities include several social spaces for residents to interact – a shared roof terrace, resident’s lounge, co-working space and gym. There is also a dedicated onsite Resident Services team. The development will also include commercial space which will be available for local businesses to rent.
Enertech FM will carry out the Planned Preventative Maintenance services in accordance with the Asset register, manufacturers recommendations and key performance indicators, together with specialist maintenance services.
Enertech FM will provide a professionally managed, Planned Preventative Maintenance regime in accordance with OEM instructions, all CIBSE / industry guides and technical memorandums and a system and programme of building fabric and M&E maintenance in accordance with SFG 20.
“This is the seventh building we have awarded Enertech FM, they consistently exceed both Grainger PLC and our tenants needs. They are a refreshing change in a competitive and highly demanding environment.”
