Contracts Manager Reading
An excellent opportunity for a confident contracts manager that wants an opportunity to further their career. Enertech FM are setting up an office in Reading to add to our offices in Hebburn (Head office) Leeds, Livingston and Birmingham. This is a brand-new office and a huge opportunity for a Mechanical/ Electrical contacts manager to grow with our expanding business and progress with our continued growth. We are wanting a motivated and experienced individual to help grow the new branch and help manage our national accounts and projects.
The Contracts Manager will provide flexible but expert management support across the business, adapting to changing priorities, especially focused on: sub-contractor strategic performance management, technical support to customers, new contract mobilisation, customer account management and business project management. Predominantly working within the FM team but capable of pricing / running small works/ projects up to 250K when and if required.
Key Tasks
Contract Management (Mechanical and Electrical). A background in either Electrical or Mechanical services but efficient in producing quotes for both. Good knowledge of the construction industry required.
- P&L financial account management
- Quote new works
- Manage Contractors strategically so their performance is optimised
- Develop and implement a contractor performance management system
- Provide contractor management support to account management teams
- Effective contractor administration that ensures legal compliance and other outcomes are optimised
- Project and New Customer Contract Mobilisation Management
- Plan, manage and deliver projects, so as to achieve the business case and objectives on which the project was authorised
- Effectively project manage the mobilisation of new customer contracts so as to satisfy key stakeholders
- Plan mobilising using appropriate, contemporary methods and tools
- Ensure time, quality and cost targets are achieved when leading mobilising customer contracts
Key Skills / Attributes Required
- Technical background within one of Building Services – HVAC / M&E / Refrigeration
- Team management experience
- Supply chain performance management experience
- Contract negotiation skills
- Strong Client facing experience
- Dynamic
- High Degree of flexibility in working hours including weekends and out of hours
- High degree of mobility, travelling throughout the UK with nights away from home to meet business needs
- Full Driving License
- IT Literate, familiar with all Microsoft packages
- Customer focused, organised, flexible and professional
- Strong legal compliance focus
